Wednesdays 6:00 PM ALL RIDE

Ogden One Cycling Club FAVORITE!!!  Meet at Water Tree/Acres Market North Ogden.
This ride is designed to be a NO DROP ride out west and back (approx 2 hours round trip). Please keep the pace less than 23 MPH until you return to HWY 89, then you can unleash your fast riding.  The ride finishes at the North Ogden City Limit sign (NOT into the parking lot).

 

We'd like to see Ogden One riders wear their uniforms to show support for our sponsors and encourage new membership. Please be sure to sign in with the ride leader prior to the beginning of the ride. Let's keep this ride safe, fun and friendly. See you on the road.

Thursdays 5:30 PM Ladies Night  

Meet at the LDS church parking lot at 900 S. Main St. Kaysville. Ride category: Moderate/15 mph average. 

Our Ladies Ride Leaders are committed to creating a positive bike riding experience for all levels of women riders. Our goals are to build confidence, teach safety, improve cycling skills, and make friends in a new, refreshing, and empowering cycling environment. Rivalry is non-existent; personal “agendas” and competition have no place on our rides.  No pressure. No fees.  Plain and simple, we love to ride.

Thursday Night Mountain Biking, ALL RIDE! 

Jim Westenskow will be leading group mountain bike rides at 6:00 PM. Mountain Bike recommended!  Meet at the trailhead at the top of 29th Street in Ogden at 5:45 PM, sign-in with the ride leader, and leave by 6:00 PM.

 

Each week we'll take a vote as to where we'll ride the following week. We'll make sure no one gets lost; we will plan to stay together.

OGDEN ONE PRESENTS:  The Ogden Cash Crit

When: 6:00PM every Thursday, July 5-August 9th. 

Where: BDO @ 700 West 12th Street , Ogden. Directions.

Local Racing has finally come to Ogden !!!  It's time to put all that spring training to the test... C Flight - 6:00 PM - Novice Racers: 30 minutes, B Flight 6:40 PM - Experienced Racers: 40 minutes, A Flight - 7:30 PM -Veteran Racers: 50 minutes.

Entry fee: $7.00 per racer. The top 3 finishers in each Flight will be paid out 20% of total entry fees from their corresponding Flight. Race primes for all Flights!! Remember...the bigger the race, the bigger the purse, so tell your friends and competitors and bring your biggest fans (your family)!!!

Wednesday, July 4,  Tour of Ogden Valley*, 0730 AM.

Approximately 40 miles w/ moderate hills. OPEN PACE.    

Meet at 0715, start riding at 0730.  This ride will start at the North Arm trailhead in Eden The trail head is located in Eden at the "Y" in the road that goes around the reservoir. (If you turned left at the "Y", you'd end up at the Maverick station.)  Click here for a map to the meeting location.  We will ride around Pineview and up the Old Snowbasin road.  Mouse over the "Meet Here" pushpin and select "Drive To" for directions from your starting location.

Sunday, July 8,  Monte Cristo Ride*, 800 AM. 

Approximately 55 miles w/ massive hills. OPEN PACE.

Meet at Huntsville Town Park at 7:45 AM, leave at 8:00 AM. Ride will go up to the top of Monte Cristo, climbing to an elevation of 9000 feet.  Bring lots of water & food for the climb.  We will take a rest stop at the Red Rock Café, and then again at the forest service campground at the top.  Please let me know if you are planning on coming.  Click here for a map to the meeting location.  Mouse over the "Meet Here" pushpin and select "Drive To" for directions from your starting location.

MOAB CENTURY TOUR 

October 5-7, 2007 

$65 registration per rider (no pledges to raise)
Weekend of fully supported road riding with 42, 65, and 100 mile options

Pasta dinner, (only $12) Friday evening by scrumptious Pasta Jay's (non-riders welcome)

Recruit 3 riders, receive free registration (check website for details).  (We should coordinate this for the best deal!)

On all rides: Please be on time (early is good!) so we can get out on the road without delay. Be sure to bring your helmet, plenty of water, and your favorite energy snacks. Dress appropriately for the weather.  Please check your tires to make sure they are properly inflated and bring an extra tube, just in case.

*Not an Ogden One Cycling Club sanctioned ride. Ride insurance may be provided by the sponsoring club. Ogden One members must sign in to receive ride insurance on all Ogden One Cycling Club group rides led by Ogden One Cycling Club members. Guests who sign in, pre-ride, are covered for their first ride only.
